Since Christmas is knocking on out doors, perhaps some of you want to try out a season suited theme on your blogs. So, here’s a quick list with the best Christmas themes for Wordpress i could find out there. All of them can be used for free, and some of them heave some amazing features, plugins and looks.
“Christmas Gifts” WordPress Theme
A decent and very simple Wordpress theme for this winter season. Comes with a good look ( some very nice colours had been chosen by the creator of this theme ), Xhtml valid code and some one page SEO tweaks. So I’d reckon is a great theme for beginners. Not sure if it has widgets support (i didn’t have the time to try it out), but it should. Oh, and has a nice feature: a calendar that tells you how many days remain till Christmas.

“Vermilion Christmas” WordPress Theme
This is an older theme but still a great one. The header graphic depicts a forest of white Christmas trees with a subtle image of Santa Claus and his reindeer flying over the treetops in the distance on Christmas Eve. Besides having beautiful graphics, Vermilion Christmas comes with a very SE-friendly design, easy images styling styling and a custom made 404 page. Christmas WordPress Theme
Here’s a modern Christmas Wordpress Theme for WP 2.0+ . Besides the nice holiday look with snow men and globes, it also features: Widgets and tags support and special Search, Archive and 404 templates. Is well suited for newbies, as everyone can easily modify the header picture (although i don’t see why, as it is a great one). You just have to upload your picture in wp-admin and the system will prompt you to crop your picture to the correct size. Could it be any easier?
Anyway, the creator of this theme says it was not made from scratch but from parts of other themes. The result looks like a brand new product nonetheless.

Here’s a new theme called “Christmas Days”. This theme is a season theme for WordPress created by Design Disease as a gift to all the bloggers around the world (or so they say). The theme has been tested on WordPress 2.3.1 with Firefox , Opera, Safari and IE6/7. It’s tags and widgets ready and also XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid. As a feature, it uses the so known Flickr plugin.
