Btw with the x5, I’ve got one and there is no way to control your BMW auudio systems or anything from the iPhone, but only a way to answer call via Bluetooth and then the call is played on the car speakers. It automaticall pairs the iPhone as soon as you come into proximity with it. You van play music stored on the iPhone on the x5. I bet I’ve missed a few things…

The I phone manual says there is a A/V cable
available so we can plug our new iphones into the
TV and watch a video…strange it is not on
your site…gotta have one…

That’s just Google Maps. But since you can use a Nokia Bt car kit, i can’t see why you could not use an external gps unit also.
