Searching for office chairs
If you’re working in an office like i do for 8-10 hours every day, you will find yourself in need of a great office chair. It has to be sturdy and well built, ergonomic, with as many adjustments as possible and of course it has to look professional somehow. Oh, and not too expensive if possible.
With these in mind i began my search for a suitable office chair and i came around a site from an UK company selling office furniture. Their site’s layout is common, but what stroke me from the first moment was the "8 Year Guarantee" tag attached to each of their chairs. 8 Years? This sounds to good to be true i said. But is seems to be. Boy, they do seem to have some faith in their products. And this means i just found myself a bunch of well built office chairs, exactly like i wanted to.
So i started surfing for a chair that would meet my other criteria. They had some ordinary models, called Tabitha and Quassar II, which came with some great prices, but i was looking for something from an upper league somehow. They also have a line called Tirol, a fully adjustable ergonomic chair with a high back and adjustable arms, for only 169 pounds. It used to cost 345 pounds, so that really is a bargain there.
This chair seemed great, but still wasn’t what i really wanted. So i kept searching, until…
Until i came across something called Stealth task chair. The interesting name made me click the link, and i found what you can see in the picture. A futuristic looking chair, with adjustable height, back, arms and headrest. Not to mention that its sprung seat and back provide better air circulation, preventing you from sweating on the hot summer days. No leather chair can do this, so that’s why i love this model. Of course, the Stealth task chair comes with that 8 year guarantee i was talking about.
Now that’s it. My quest is over.
Oh actually it’s not, cause the shop won’t deliver in my country, but… if it would, i would be waiting for it right next to my office storage room.
But now… Oh well, back to searching…

Thats pretty good for a guarentee, but lets face it who would remember after 8 years where they got their office chair from. Also most office chairs are pretty good at standing the test of time, its usually the fabric that starts to wear before the mechanics of the office chair breaks down.
Still a fantastic warrenty though.
