Preparing for the Christmas Fever

I’ve been reading a lot lately about how bloggers prepare their sites for the Christmas fever. You know, that "buy whatever lies before your eyes" state of mind that seems to get a hold on people in December. Many bloggers seem to have great plans, like Al from Coolest Gadgets, who plans to make an extra $50K this Christmas from his sites and blogs…

So, i thought i should prepare for Christmas too. But… how?

Let’s say you have a couple of sites with some traffic. The best way to maximize your earnings in this period is to use Affiliates. So what can you sell? Small and inexpensive gadgets, books, Christmas decorations and other little things will definitely get the attention, but… what if you have a SEO and Internet Marketing Blog? Let’s be honest, nobody is going to buy books or SEO software this time of a year. That’s why… here on Mike’s Quarter, Christmas is just as normal as every other time of the year.

Perhaps i should start working on an old project, Gadgetroad, that i abandoned a couple of months ago… I could earn some nice bucks with Amazon and CJ there. But, i don’t even have time to blog here, so I guess there’s nothing i can do to increase my Christmas budget…
