A post written by Mike and published in Rummaging the WWW

A friend of mine asked me a couple of days ago where could he get some decent templates, as he was trying to put together a couple of sites and he does not have the required skills to design them by himself. And also not the money to hire a paid designer either.

GTA IV star, Niko Bellic, wants more money

A post written by Mike and published in Away from the PC

Michael Hollick, known as the voice of GTA IV’s main character Niko Bellic wants more money? From who? From Rockstar of course. And why?

GTA IV

Well, it seems Hollick is unsatisfied with the money he received during the time the game was filmed, around $100000 for 15 months of work. Especially when the game made sells of over $600 millions in just a couple of weeks from its launch, millions from which Hollick won’t see a dime. Kind of frustrating, right?

Learn how to write a good CV

A post written by Mike and published in Away from the PC

Learn to write a CV According to dictionaries, a CV (curriculum vitae) means " A summary of one’s education, professional history, and job qualifications, as for a prospective employer." In other words, it’s a piece of paper stating who you are and what are you qualified to do, a piece of paper that you send to employers when looking for a job.

The difference between a good and a bad written CV determines whether you pass the HR who screens CVs for a job application or not. Thus, it’s crucial to know the basic rules of putting together a good resume. And that’s exactly what am i going to teach you here: how to write a proper CV.

Recommended Clickbank Tools

A post written by Mike and published in Making Money Online

I was experimenting with ClickBank this week and i found that the system is not so simple to use. It’s not nanophysics either but you have to read a couple of guides to get the things going. That’s why i started looking for a couple of tools that would help me as an affiliate. And here’s what i found.

Affiliate Cloner

This little programs resolves the following problems:

  • how to protect your affiliate link
  • how to link directly to a ClickBank order page

The first one i find very important as it stops the buyers from depriving you of the sales by cutting your affiliate name from the link. More details about this here: Affiliate cloner

Clickbank turns its face to Romania once more

A post written by Mike and published in Making Money Online

Clickbank has not been accepting Romanian (fellows from my country that is)  publishers in the last years. That always bugged me as i saw lots of good opportunities of making affiliate sales driven away, as i could not become a member. But now, things have once again changed.

You can once more make an Account on Clickbank if you’re from Romania. Or at least i could this morning… I say once more cause Clickbank used to accept my fellow countrymen years ago, but they were involved into lots of fraudulous operations, mostly carding. And that lead to almost all the accounts from this country being banned or suspended.

But now, we’re back once again. Hopefully to stay this time. So all i can say is… go sell something now :P

What keeps you from starting a start up?

A post written by Mike and published in Internet Marketing OnlineUncategorized

Start-up. What does this term mean? According to Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, a start-up is "a new small company or business, especially one whose work involves computers or the Internet". Examples? Well… Youtube, Joost, Kazaa, Facebook , they all we’re start-ups a couple of time ago, until they got sold for tons of money or became traffic magnets. For more recent start-ups you can check Killerstartups.com .

Anyway, i was wondering the other night how hard can it be to create a successful start-up? And then something stroke me: Why don’t you plan your own start-up? Why don’t people start more start-ups? Is it too difficult or nobody loves adventure anymore? So let’s think about that and make a list of possible problems you might meet if you plan your own start-up.

The idea
