Yea Joomla and virtuemart is definitely the way to go. Theres lots of other useful J! extensions as well that will make your store more interactive such as reviews, and the lot. Nice post, btw…

I have used X-cart Pro many times and loved it except for the templating it has (smarty). I cringe at Smarty templates!
