Don’t read this

A post written by Mike and published in Rummaging the WWW

I’m experimenting reverse psychology here. Does it work? Well, if you’re reading this, it does. Great. Now let’s get to the point. Today’s post is a Friday wrap.

First of all, sry I haven’t been able to blog lately, I’ve been very busy with work (have lots of plans, budgets and analysis to make) and I’m still trying to recover from last week…

Anyway, here are the main topics:

  • Mr John Cow started his own little war against the guys from RSSxplosion.com and their spamming techniques. You can find everything about it in This month Stupid Cow Award, a post written in the already famous mooish style
  • I always found it incredibly hard to develop a blog identity. Daniel from DailyBlogTips has a very nice post on this subject that might come in handy: Developing your blogging identity
  • One of my favourite blogs had a face-lift lately. Hyder is the one behind John Cow’s blog new face, but i have ot say i liked his blog better with the old theme. But he knows better, he’s the designer.
  • I found a great blog, owned by a guy who’s been involved with Internet for more than 10 years now… That’s something. He blogs about SEO, marketing and new media on SEO 2.0
  • Finally, Scott points out the difference between being the first result in SERPs or the second. Looks pretty interesting, but there are some factors influencing those click through rates , like title quality, relevancy and description.
