Sony Book Reader Fight

The battle of the giants, Sony eBook Reader and Amazon Kindle is fierce. As they are the biggest players on the eBook readers market, I was wondering which one is better? Why do i care? Because I’ve wanted one for so long, but they are not available in my country yet. Perhaps i should order them from Amazon, were the Amazon Kindle is $399 and the Sony eBook Reader costs $299.

Making money online with Kontera

Kontera ContentLinkI’m experimenting these days with Kontera ContentLink. What ’s that? Well, a contextual advertising service that provides ads relevant to the content on a page.

Can i use it with AdSense?

Yes, you can. Although they are both contextual services, Kontera ContentLink is different than AdSense. It does not display an ad on a specific region of the site, it highlights phrases inside the text as a double-underlined link. Whenever your mouse will get over that link, an in page bubble pop-up will emerge, showing the ad. Clicking this bubble will take the user to the advertised page.

Search engine optimization tips - indexing and controlling the link juice flow

You’ve earned from my previous articles from the search engine optimization tips series a couple of Seo beginner rules and then how to plan and implement a proper link structure for your site. Now it’s time for a new episode, about indexing and controlling PR juice flow trough your site.

There are lots of pages on a site that should not get into SERPs. Why? For many reasons: duplicate content, uninteresting content, very low chances of ranking well etc.  So, what should you do with all these pages? Prevent crawling bots to get to them. By using robots.txt or the noindex meta tag.
