Do-follow plugin ON!
As a part of me trying to raise a community here, i decided to install a couple of plugins in order to make people leave more comments. One of them, called the Do-follow plugin is already installed, and it’s pretty clear what it does: eliminates the no-follow tag from the links you put down when writing a comment. So, from now on, you’ll comment and also get a good live link.
The other plugin is called Show Top Commentators. It encourages feedback and discussion by rewarding readers for making a comment, allowing to display a top commentators list on the right sidebar (under Categories) along with the number of comments made and a link back to their site or blog. It’s not active yet as there are too few comments, but it will be live in a couple of weeks.
I have both of these plugins installed on my blog too and I think they are a great way to thank your visitors because after all you NEED them to have a successful blog/community.

After I joined the Do Follow Movement and saw that there is a D-List, I wanted to be on that list. But, from what I saw, the list hasn’t been updated for a while. So, I decided to keep the list updated myself.

Thank you for your considerations - quite interesting your idea to allow users to vote on comments - if the comment is good then they get the back link, otherwise they don’t.
Unfortunately many do try forcing their way in with pointless comments that are deleted - your idea is great and I hope to turn it into a plugin !
