Black Friday 2008 – 2 weeks notice

Just two more weeks to come till the shopping event of the year. This year’s Black Friday is still a big mystery to everyone.

A couple of the big retailers have already made their ads public, but most of them are still waiting. And some are using obscure tactics, like Best Buy, who launched their ads yesterday and whose offers suck so bad that they can’t be true. They will surely have better deals in two weeks, or at least they should if they want to sell anything.

Anyway, this year some of the best deals moved online. There are still hundreds of sites presenting the Black Friday ads lists, but all those are exactly the same. There are too few sites bringing real value to the online shopping phenomenon, and one of those is this new one: Black Friday sales and ads . The people behind it surf all the offers and gather only the best ones here. They have TV’s, cameras, laptops, household accessories, clothes and lots of other stuff. All of them sold by big retailers like Amazon, Buy.com, Tiger Direct, Office Depot and others, all of them with incredible price cuts.

So, if you don’t want to spend your Thanksgiving evening in lines, perhaps you should start buying online this year. Not all the good offers will be available online, bust retailers promise that most of them will. And some retailers even have offers only available for online. And this rocks.

That’s about it. All we have to do know is get the shopping lists done and start scanning for the best deals. I made mine: i want the new Apple Macbook, an external hard drive and maybe a new LCD TV if the prices will drop low enough (this one looks pretty good already though). How about you?
