    Hi Mike

    I’ve had my Vostro 3650 since February this year and more or less agree with you on most points. I don’t play games so the video/screen is great for me. The sound card is good enough to run Dragon Naturally Speaking 11.5 with no issues, which is good.
    Noise is not an issue for me, perhaps having 8GB RAM helps (Win 7 64 bit). My 3rd Dell and the best machine I’ve had – started with a Kaypro 4 (still works) in 1985, then Toshibas from 1990-2004… Great to see that a Mac with practically the same spec costs twice as much – OK it weights a good deal less, but still…
