Band of the day: Sixpence None the Richer
After having a tough night, my day was changed a little by a song from the bus. So, I’ve decided to write about this band, Sixpence None the Richer, which many of you already know of course, as they used to be famous a couple of years ago.
Guitarist/songwriter Matt Slocum and vocalist Leigh Bingham Nash are the people behind this band. As for their songs, they are great. I haven’t listened to all their work, but tracks like “Kiss me”, “There she goes” and “Don’t dream it’s over” are really mood saviours for me.
Unfortunately the band dismanded back in 2004, the two members deciding to start some other projects. That’s too bad, as some other good songs could have come from Sixpence None the Richer. So, there’s nothing for me to say anymore. I’ll live you with these videos that you’ll surely like and their home site address.
Sixpence None the Richer - Don’t dream it’s over
Sixpence None the Richer - Kiss me
Sixpence None the Richer - There she goes

Its a shame you mention songwriter, since two of the three songs you mention are written by someone else
There she goes - The Las (UK)
Dont dream its over - Crowded House
Yeah, good point Andrew. I knew about “Don’t dream it’s over”, but i had no idea that the other one was “inspired” too.
Still, i like them playing… Even if they were not that original
Good songs there! remembr me of good old times some years ago..too bad theyre off now.
